Feeding
We recommend feeding with dry flake foods (or
freeze dried foods), and as a special treat Frozen Brine Shrimp
or Frozen Blood worms can be fed. We do not recommend feeding
live food (tubifex worms or black worms) since they have been
known to introduce diseases to fish. Never feed more than your
fish will consume in a few minutes. Any uneaten food should be
removed immediately to prevent the decaying of the uneaten food.
Water Chemistry
Aquarium conditions should be kept as follows:
| Temp: |
78-82 F |
| |
| pH: |
6.8-7.2 |
| |
| |
| |
Keeping conditions consistent with minimal fluctuations is most important. Please make sure that your tank has fully cycled before attempting to add our
Angelfish.
Acclimation
When your Angelfish arrive your first instinct will be to get them out of the bag and into the tank in a hurry, we know you're anxious to get them in your tank but
Angels, like most tropical fish, must first be slowly acclimated to your tank chemistry and temperature as not to shock or even kill them.
For detailed information please see our Acclimation Guide.
